Meet Luis Espel
As a child, Luis Espel was fascinated with taking things apart to figure out how they work. He followed his passion through his school years to learn how electricity worked, ultimately becoming an electrician.
In 1996, after working in the field for several years, Luis started his own electrical service company in Long Island, New York, under the name LEE (Luis Espel Electrical) Systems, Inc. Shortly after his first year in business, he received an offer to work as an electrician for an international company located in Florida. Luis jumped at the opportunity and then, in 1997, re-established LEE Systems in Tampa.
At first, he focused on building an industrial customer base. Then, he moved into the residential market and received positive response from homeowners as well as recognition for the company’s quality workmanship and ethical business practice. Luis enjoyed forming new relationships with a diverse client base and found it rewarding to serve people who appreciated the quality of work that the LEE Systems team had to offer.
In 2004, LEE Systems, Inc. added two more vehicles to its fleet and by the end of 2006, the company expanded to servicing the entire Tampa Bay area in the residential market.
In 2007, understanding the importance of highly skilled and qualified technicians, the full-service uniform was introduced, along with the mandatory drug testing, background screening and training of all technicians to ensure the safety of our customers.
Luis rebranded and renamed his company in 2008, now known to his neighbors as LEE Electric, Inc. He continues to build his business through the solid foundation of achievable goals.
The team is trained each year so that they can educate clients on the latest National Electrical Code Changes, National Fire Protection Code, and how they apply to homes and businesses. It is through professional business practices that Luis hopes to establish a relationship to increase the probabilities of continuing to do business again in the future with you, your family and your friends.
